Patel Conservatory Located at the Straz Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Tampa, the Patel Conservatory is the largest and most established performing arts school in the city. String Ensemble Academy Located on S MacDill Avenue in South Tampa, String Ensemble Academy is the only school in the area dedicated exclusively to string instruments — violin, viola, cello, and double bass — alongside piano. Founded by Miss Lina Cáceres, a professional orchestral musician who has performed five times alongside Andrea Bocelli, the academy offers a highly specialized, structured program designed to develop young musicians from their very first note through advanced ensemble performance. String Ensemble Academy is particularly recognized for its Summer Music Camp, its school orchestra preparation programs, and its warm, student-centered teaching environment.
